Manuel Calvo, of Belgian nationality, is from Belgian/Spanish marriage. As the first child, he was given the name of his Spanish grandfather. Manuel obtained his University degree in Geography from the Free University of Brussels. He speaks Dutch, English and Spanish fluently and well French and a little German. He moved to Costa Rica in 2001.
