Arriving Home
The positive impression of this lovingly maintained house in Bachenbülach begins even before you arrive. Situated on the edge of the building zone, it enjoys an unobstructed view over the fields. The house feels welcoming from the outside, and it is clear that it has been well cared for. But let us step inside and begin our tour.
To the right of the entrance is the guest WC, and to the left, the kitchen. It is original in character but well maintained and fully functional. Should you wish to renovate and install a new kitchen, we recommend doing so before moving in — and we are happy to assist you with our network of contacts.
We now enter the open-plan living and dining area. The many windows flood the room with natural light. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area, which opens onto a south-facing outdoor seating area. Here you will also find the garden shed, offering ample space for garden tools and bicycles, as well as a separate cellar entrance.
At the front of the living area, a door leads to the semi-covered west-facing terrace. From here, you can enjoy the view over the fields all the way to the sunset. There is plenty of space to play with your children on the adjacent lawn, or to relax with friends over a barbecue and a good glass of wine.
As already mentioned, the living area is wonderfully bright. In winter, the wood-burning stove fills the room — and the heart — with a cosy warmth.
Throughout the entire living area, light oak parquet flooring has been laid.
The staircase leads us up to the sleeping floor of the house. Facing east is the large master bedroom. Thanks to the generous dormer window, there are no issues with the sloping roof or positioning a wardrobe. On the west side are the two smaller children's rooms. Here too, a dormer window frames the view over the fields, and there is sufficient space for wardrobes or a bookshelf. One room already features a built-in three-door wardrobe.
Between the master bedroom and the children's rooms is the newly renovated bathroom. High-set windows allow light to flow in and provide ventilation after showering, while remaining high enough to keep curious glances out. During the renovation, the bathtub was replaced with a large walk-in shower.
On the top floor, a bright and welcoming studio awaits, complete with WC and shower. The south-facing window lets in abundant daylight and sunshine, and depending on the weather, offers a partial view of the mountains. This space is ideal as a home office, an artist's studio, or as a self-contained living area for a flatmate who appreciates a little extra independence.
Completing this level is the attic, which has been insulated and offers additional storage space.
As the entire house has a basement — in addition to an underground garage — the lower level provides a generous amount of space. This was further expanded when the oil heating system was replaced with an air-to-water heat pump. One large room has been tiled and can be used as a hobby or fitness room. The external cellar entrance is a particularly practical feature.
As you can see, this house has a great deal to offer — not only in terms of generous living space, but above all a warm and welcoming place to call home.
We would be delighted to introduce you to your new home during a personal viewing. To arrange an appointment, please give us a call on 052 338 11 44. We look forward to meeting you soon.
